Emirates plans luxury lounge at Mumbai airport

The Dubai government-owned Emirates Airline plans a luxurious lounge at the Mumbai International Airport, to cater to its premium travelers.

“We acquired 700 square metres at the airport to cater to our first class and business class passengers,” Emirates Airlines Senior Vice President (Commercial Operations), West Asia & Indian Ocean, Salem Obaidalla said.

Emirates has four flights a day from Mumbai, and recently launched a chauffeur-driven service for its first class and business class passengers arriving and departing from Mumbai. The company plans to extend the service to Delhi.
