Facilities:
- Swimming facilities are provided at Municipal Swimming Pools on payment of scheduled fees.
- Arrangements are made for giving instructions to beginners on payment of instruction fees.
- Casual swimmers are also permitted on payment of fees.
- Separate swimming hours for male & female swimmers.
- Inquiries may be made with the Manager of the concern swimming pool. The swimming pools are:
- Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Olympic Swimming Pool, Swatantrya Veer Sawarkar Marg, Shivaji Park, Dadar. (Tel. no.24452062). The Swimming facilities are also available.
- Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Swimming Pool, Mahatma Gandhi Road, Kandivali (W), (Tel. 28014427)
- Ghatkopar Lion’s Municipal Swimming Pool, Ghatkopar (E), (Tel. No. 25125952),
- Nirlon Olympic Municipal Swimming Pool, Siddharth Nagar, Goregaon (W), (Tel. No. 28721882).
- General Arun Kumar Vaidya Swimming Pool, Sharadbhau Acharya Marg,Nr. Natraj Cinema,Chembur, Mumbai -400 071.(Tel. No.25286962).
- Swimming Pool at Priyadarshani Sports Complex,Mulund (West). (Tel No. 25906989)
- Swimming Pool, at Shahaji Raje Sports Complex, Andheri (West)(Tel. Nos. 26325266 and 26366973) are handed over to Brihanmumbai Kreeda and Lalit Kala Pratisthan for maintenance and management.
- The premises of the second and third swimming pool can be booked for public performance, receptions etc. by paying scheduled charges to the Asst. Manager of the respective swimming pools.
- 50% concession in fees is allowed of the school going children up to 12 years, Municipal Employees, Retired Municipal Employees, Councillors and Citizens above 60 years of age at all Municipal Swimming Pools.
